Misfires and rough idle on B6 A4. Code 17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo + Throttle

My wife was driving her 2004 A4 1.8T yesterday and the check engine light came on, and the car was really rough at idle. Checked the codes with VAG COM after work and got the following:

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
    P1297 - 001 -
    16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
    P0300 - 001 - - MIL ON
    16685 - Cylinder 1
    P0301 - 001 - Misfire Detected - MIL ON
    16687 - Cylinder 3
    P0303 - 001 - Misfire Detected

I did search a lot and found quite a few threads on similar issues, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any direct experience that they could share with me. I ordered a new DV valve (the updated 710N) since I know those can be bad anyway so I figure I'll start there. Not sure where else to start without just throwing parts at it. I've only had this car a week so it was very disheartening to happen so fast. I know there are a couple PCV valves and I read something about the crankcase ventilation valve, but I'm not sure if I should change everything or what.

I cleared the codes and drove the car a bunch yesterday and today and it's driving totally fine now.

I actually talked to the guy who sold me the car and he said it happened twice before about 6 months ago and he changed the coil packs and the fuel injectors, reset the codes and it was fine.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

This same code popped up for me when I left a boost pipe disconnected. I would start by doing a boost leak test first. If you do not have any leaks it may be your DV is on its way out.

Alright I'll look into getting a boost leak tester. I ordered a new DV so hopefully that will solve it. So far the car has been running fine, so I'm not sure what triggered it in the first place.
