Is this a thing, or did someone make it. At work so haven't run the VIN or anything..but did Canada get these? Did someone import it?
    Looks legit. I mean...serious.

Canada got those S6s though. Not the Recaro package, but that model S6 definitely landed on our shore. What are they C5 platform?

C5 S6 Sedan in Canada? Never heard of or seen a single other one. Not like I'm a veteran, but if Canadia got any it would've been less than half a dozen. I Wonder..since it was already legal in Canada if they'd hassle anyone about bringing it south.
Sedans aren't my thing, but would be literally 1 of 1 in the US. Rumor has it Canada to the US is one way to get Euro cars into the US, half of it is already done.
Shit. It's like $7k US... Comes with a 1 year warranty? lol. So. Get. Swap Interior w/ normal Sport.
    Sell.
    +profit?

    Or...just get an Rs6.

Quite a few imports from Japan and Europe here in Vancouver as it's easy to import provided it's 15 years or older. I actually currently have a Mercedes 600SL AMG I imported from Japan and have imported a 190E 16V from Germany so as mentioned not uncommon. The U.S requires the car to be 25 years or older for hassle free importation not sure how much of a CF it would be for you guys to import this .In looking at the mileage verification report the car did indeed come in from Japan.I thought about this car but I personally am also not a sedan fan.

As Black-Forsest mentioned, that one is a Japanese market S6 that the dealer imported. They had 2 on the lot last year so he must have sold one. If you look at his inventory he caries a lot of cars from the Japanese market.

It just north of our border and a 1 yr warranty why not? If it's JDM imported it was probably very well maintaned to boot.

There are a couple AMD modded RS6's for sale in Seattle if you check the RS6.com boards BUT you'll be looking north of 20k!

Good call. I didn't know we were speaking entirely of sedans. I know there are about 10 C5 Avants for sale on kijiji in Ontario and Quebec, at the moment. One has even had a 6 speed swap and is priced fairly at $10k.

Hell, I've seen C5 RS6s go for less than $16k Canadian. It's an American buyers dream.

As for the 15 year rule. I'll start my search for a German B7 RS4 Avant in a few years. We really are only 5 years away from bringing them into the country legally. Let's just hope the Canadian dollar is in a better position against the Euro...

2018 is when we can start looking at bringing in the RS6 Avant :)

Yeah, but automatic... It's not an easy manual swap either.

Don't see that as an issue. Almost everyone that's done that swap seems to quickly realize their RS6 was far more drivable as an auto and sells it. I like a manual as much as any enthusiast but there are certain cars where it just doesn't make sense and the C5 RS6 is one of them (IMHO).

Agreed, and that is entirely why the RS6 has very little appeal to me. I'm of the belief that a performance vehicle should be something that is driven. Manual input and tactile feel are big things for me.

Think I would rather source a nice RS2. Always had a soft spot for those.

Anybody else check out the inventory at that dealership? They have some minty JDM cult cars: Silvia's, GTR's, Subi Foresters. I wonder how much of a margin these guys are making after import duties, taxes etc. Sounds like the S6 is a deal for that price.
