B6 A4 timing marks off by one tooth

So I changed the timing belt on my car and after I hand cranked it I saw the cam gear was off a tooth. Is this going to be really bad or am I going to be ok with it the way it is? Here's a video of it. https://youtu.be/ZzztDajLs6E

Lift the belt off the cam sprocket and jump the belt back one tooth. That's what'd I do just to be safe.

I'll try that, I have to compress the tensioner though

You can re compress the tensioner. Providing you have the pin, and correct hex key.

Yeah I'm trying to find the little metal clip that came with it or I'll just make one.

So I ended up making that retaining clip to hold the piston. I compressed it and left it overnight to make sure no fluid was leaking and realigned the timing marks. They all line up now and everything looks great

So I ran the car and everything worked out well. I bought the car last year and just finished rebuilding the top end of it. So after I ran the car awhile it came up with a code for cylinder 3 misfire but other than that all is well.

When setting the timing, have it advanced on the cam by one tooth, once you release the tensioner it will pull it back in line to where it should be, but you'll know that by know!
