Guys that have painted badges on their S5/A5...

Anyone removed and had painted their badges on their car? I want to go with black badges and am not ready to spend over $600 on them through TAG. I appreciate the quality and the work involved, but I can get them painted a ton less...

Obviously use dental floss or fishing line to remove, but what are you all using to reattach? Any issues you came across?

Try using a heat gun or hair dryer to help remove the badges. That will soften the adhesive allowing you to remove easier.

If it doesn't stick back on you can just buy some new chrome badges, paint them then stick em on with new adhesive

New badges come with new adhesive, just peel off the backing and slap it on
