How much hp can stock s6/s7 drivetrain/transmission/motor hold? 1000hp?

I saw a video today that stated the rs7 can hold 1000hp no problem. How can our cars hold up. If we do turbo swap/race tune/gas etc. Can they hold same power levels? I wouldn't think so. I would think they would beef up the trans/motor/drivetrain on the rs7.

I don't think the "limit" is known... only because nobody has broken them, even on 750+HP stage 3+ cars. So yeah, they're strong!

Let us know if you find that limit, LOL.

Keep in mind that the RS7 has the Tiptronic transmission where as the S6/S7 has the S tronic transmission. Depending the which version of the Tiptonic is used determines the rated torque for that transmission. I believe in the case of the RS7 it has the 8HP70 version which is good for 700 Nm of torque. The S Tronic has a lower torque rating than the Tiptronic hence the reason the Tiptronic is used in the RS7.

I've had my Stage 3 - S6 on race gas plenty and have done a lot of testing. Also enough 4th-5th pulls. To load the clutches heavily with no slip of clutches yet. There is a place I know that I believe makes modified clutch packs, and I would say this might be the biggest weak area. Also, there is an engine cooling difference between the RS7 and the S6 but I don't think it has been shown how significant of an issue it may ever be. Given the proper supporting mods, I don't think there is a lot holding it back. Internals, and cam profiles are a little different but I doubt this should prevent RS7 stage 2 power levels from being seen on an S6/S7 properly modified and cooled. It will cost a decent penny to modify the fueling system to keep up with 700+ AWHP though. High-pressure and low-pressure pumps and of course another custom tune. But then again, you are talking non-OEM spec turbos in this case.
