Okay so I recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter about a month ago. On my way home today the car started cutting in and out when accelerating almost like limp mode, it idles fine though. Any ideas?

No check engine light flashing or anything. Can it still be coilpacks? I removed back seat and the fuel pump makes a kind of loud whine only when giving it gas.

I feel like a lot of us are having this problem lately. I had this for a little but honestly after I performed an oil change, this issue has been majorly reduced or at least no where near what i was suffering before the oil change. I did get a CEL when this happened and one code was related to the camshaft being over-advanced, and the second was in regards to the catalyst or cat converter. If I had to put money on it, I'd guess most of our issues related to this problem are due to clogged cats, however this is not something I will be attempting to solve.

Hopefully you find the cause. Mine does that sometimes too. Hasn't thrown any codes.
