Unhappy Forge TIP won't fit. Cut it?

There's no way in hell this forge turbo inlet pipe is going to fit. the end hooking up to the maf is about an inch longer than stock, nbd. but the end going to the turbo is about an inch and a half or so longer than the stock one. about a half inch or more too long to be able to clear the radiator or a/c or whatever fan on the lock carrier. Should I just cut about an inch off of it and try again? Is it normal to have to cut these?

I had to cut my Forge TIP on the turbo end in order to get it to fit. I don't recall exactly how much i cut off but I think it was around 3/4".

Strange that yours doesn't fit. Mine fits without any trimming.

Mine fit but it was pressing hard on the back of the headlight housing. By cutting a little off of the turbo inlet connection I was able to get the hose off of the headlight.

Are you running the stock airbox?

Mine doesn't press on the headlight, but it definitely very close to it. Stock airbox too.
