Question on OEM S5 grill on B8.5...

Bought a '14 S5 that had the front plate/bracket - so, I choose not to run a front plate - my question is there a 'filler' cross section like the B8 or is the plate bracket screwed directly onto the grill?

Sadly there will be holes in your grille from the plate holder. There is no plate delete trim, but instead a whole grille is required. Sometimes it's a great time to upgrade to black optic or the RS5 grille.

Mild trimming of either the bumper or grille for a flush fitment.

Wasn't the europrice RS5 grill are pre-trimmed to fit S5 bumper? I got mine from italy so I have to trim it myself and it took me an hr to trim it

The grille was not pre-trimmed as this allowed the customer to decide to trim the grille or the bumper plus for RS5 owners that were going to black optic they didn't need the grille trimmed.
