Door foam under mirror cover

Every time I have the window regulator out, I am struggling (and sometimes cheating by not putting it back in) to put the foam piece back in that goes under the mirror plastic triangle.

Does anybody have any helpful tips, photos or similar to explain/show how to put that foam back in?
Maybe driver side and passenger side (currently struggling with driver side).

I usually just look for the scoring marks on the foam but that one piece under the mirror is an odd shape. I think the one on my drivers has been in and out so many times it doesn't have proper wear marks on it anymore. I think me and my buddy just stuffed it in best we could.

Found a position that seems to fit.
Keep on hand for next time.

its like fiddling with a rubics cube trying to get the right orientation but i find the impression for the wires and connectors give it away . i always figure it out after a bit.
