Anyone bought a rear valence from eBay?

Hey guys.
I plan to do a custom quad exhaust on my 2.0t as the AWE doesn't have enough growl IMO.

To do quads I know you can:
-Get an S5 bumper and valence (not an option for me)

-Buy a valence.

I see some on eBay that will fit a non
S line pre face-lift.

Has anyone here bought an eBay valence for their non s line pre face-lift A5?

I don't want to drop $600 on a valence, the non s line doesn't seem to have many options.

If anyone has any recommendations that would be appreciated :)

I have bought a valence for my TT and it wasnt the best fitment.

I also don't think a quad setup is going to noticeably improve the sound on your current setup. You'll likely end up with a drone at low rpm.

You might even experience a smaller tone because the exhaust is come out of 2 sides instead of 1 with 2.0T

You can also contact AWE. They sell their valence for not too much. I was quoted around 300 shipped for the lower valence and heat shields needed which was a lot less then I was expecting.

both. there are some really nice sounding 2.0 engines ( GTI's, Golf R's, etc ) and even that freakin abarth sounds better than our 2.0's.

im not sure but AWE might have resonators that muffle the sound.

my spm sounds nice but it is not loud enough. im actually planning to gut the center resonators once I find a shop that can actually do it! lol

those parts are not for non s-line.

OP, is your exhaust resonated? you can try to gut the center + rear mufflers if you have them.

either way, since im dismantling my car this weekend, if I get to it, I might install my new valance. the 3.2 valance is urs if u want it

Sorta sounds like the Armytrix exhaust IMO.

Basically the guy replaced the rear muffler and resonator with a Flowmaster 40 series.

I have the valance, I just never installed it. I bought the exhaust second hand from here. So that guarantee doesn't apply to me. Thanks for the offer though.

anyways, there are a few members here that did buy the ebay rear valance. I think there were some fitment issues, but it still fits. if ur car is black, I think it will hide any issues well

I agree. I considered the ebay diffusers but ultimately decided against it mostly due to not wanting to spend money on swapping out tips

I think u should go for the ebay diffusers and report back on it. I think it will at least be decent. With black u wont notice the imperfections

There was a thread where a guy bought a B8.5 eBay valence and had it professionally painted and it came out nice.

yea I know its weird, but reiger exit is quad no matter what. it might say that because it was made for the non s line cars with the left exit exhaust.
