    Peak stock PSI

    Hey guys,
Right now I have codes for bad EGT's, however I'm changing them this Sunday, I was just wondering if they had something to do with the fact that my boost peaks at about 5-6 psi. I don't drive my car hard 99% of the time, so do you think the ECU changed the PSI? Looking online I see that I should be making 8-9 psi stock, is that driving the car aggressively? The codes I'm getting now are:

Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1 (G235): Open or Short to Plus: P1453

Seems like somethings putting it in soft limp mode.

Although personally idk if EGT'S will do that.

Wait till a pro chimes in 👍👍

Bad EGT will indeed put the car into limp mode. Thus being limited to ~5 psi.

I'd replace if it were my car, but you can code out the EGT sensors pretty easily as well, which will also fix the issue.

Why not check requested boost vs actual boost? That'll tell you if the ecu is aware.

Or resolder the boards, usually works for at least a while...
