Ever since I had my front calipers removed and powder coated red I was conscious about my rear pads being black and different from my fronts. I didn't want to just paint them because I thought they would look a little cheesy. I thought Audi did a decent job on the RS7 to install a plate with a logo and at least attempt to improve the look of the rears. So I bought the rear covers from ECS and set out to install them on my S6. The covers come with some posts cast into the aluminum and I was either going to dremmel them off or drill into the calipers. I chose the latter. It wasn't hard to do, but I made a template of the covers to accurately mark the holes on the calipers. Drilled a pilot hole, them drilled the correct size hole. I use a two part metal epoxy for the adhesion. 24 hours after the glue cured they are on there for life. I painted over the black covers with RS logo to match the red caliper paint and applied S6 decals I purchased from an eBay vendor from Italy.
See pics below, I think they look pretty nice.
