    Modified flat bottom steering wheels

Has anyone had any experience with the structural integrity of these wheels? Are they just an own wheel that someone cuts and welds in a flat piece?

I am referring to the wheels that are being sold on here and on eBay from Poland I believe.

Can't comment on the wheels from Poland, but most of the ones referenced here, including one I installed on my own car are OEM wheels made by Audi. The most common seemed to be the euro RS4 wheel, and the TTRS wheel. I personally went with the RS6 wheel.

What is the difference between those various wheels? I know how the euro RS4 wheel is different, but what makes the TTRS and RS6 wheels different?

Usually the thickness of the steering wheel is the major difference... believe the RS6 wheel is slightly thicker than TTRS. Also whether you prefer perforated or non-perf leather, color of stitching, etc, certain options may be on one but not the other...

Been extremely happy with my TTRS

Pretty sure the TTRS and RS6 wheels are thicker than the euro RS4 wheel.

The RS6 wheel looks like the TTRS wheel except the leather on the top and bottom is smooth, while only the sides are perforated. Personal preference for me.

Some of the newer model wheels fit as well, B8, RS5, etc. but I don't think all of the buttons are functional on those wheels when retrofitted to our cars.

@WinterRunner If you can't find them there, I believe KuhlRennsport is making/selling them, I asked about them in post 59 here: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...1#post12974126
