Homebrew spider hose and catch can questions

Hi. I have already searched.

What size hose will I need for making my own spider hose while retaining factory ends. Just 5/8 or is there another size also?

Also, what are the benefits and disadvantages of running a catch can recirc and atmospherically???

What size hose goes to catch can?

If I had a spare spider hose I could figure this out, but I don't and the car is a DD

advantage -> not much pcv condesate in your intercoolers. don't have the fumes from the crankcase in your freshair
i drive the catchtank from the 996/997 porsche turbo. looks like oem ;)

Where does it drain to? Is that a valve on the bottom or just a hose?

sorry for the late reply. on the buttom there's no valve. i've closed the buttom drain. i check the fluid in the tank from time to time.

here r some pic how i have installed the tank. it's not the final solution but it works. but will put it in the near there the battery is
