    Wheel Spacer Advice?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Two things cosmetically that really bug me about the Quattro is the height of the car and the wheel spacing.
I plan on lowering the car later but right now would like to get some advice on spacers (adapters).
I'm just trying to fill the wheel wells a bit more and have been told that 10mm and 12mm front and back seem to work the best with factory 17 wheels.
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks!

If you're doing this try get hub centric spacers if you can. Not a big issue for the 10mm but a definite for the 12mm.

Also you will need longer wheel lugs but I would recommend converting to studs which will make it way easier to get wheels on and off

No question about hub-centric and the correct longer studs.
I've done this before with Mercedes and Porsche.
    But any advice on thickness?
    Thanks

Sometimes measuring is the best way to figure out which size spacers will be best for you. Below is a helpful diagram on how to measure for wheel spacers.

Or we have spacer fitment kits available to rent and return!

    Check them out HERE

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks for the suggestions
However I was looking for feedback from other Audi owners and what they've used
I'm a bit surprised that there doesn't seem to be much info on this
The Porsche forums have tons of info on this and what is conservative to aggressive
Measuring is accurate but not always what u want visually

There are tons of pictures on here, if that's what you're looking for. I forget the exact offset of the factory 17s, but usually ending up around ET35 is flush on our cars, especially if you plan to lower.

What exactly are you looking for? It's going to be different depending on wheel, tires, look you want etc... Get some spacers throw them on and go from there, either bigger or smaller. I have 10/15 with my titanium wheels.

Any chance you could post a pic of your car?
Just want a "nice" look that's not too aggressive that'll fill the wheel wells nicely and use the stock 17 wheels.

Pretty good amount of room in the B7 A4 fenders. You gotta realize, there are plenty of people with 9" wide wheels with lower than stock offset, without it looking overly aggressive.

Probably going to go with a set of S-Line springs.
And then try to determine the spacer size then.
    Thanks
