    Hello Audizine Crew,

I've decided to update this thread to my build thread so I won't have to create numerous threads and get flamed like Grumpy S4 (just kidding).

I posted a week ago what should be my next mod. I ended up going with the Massdrop version of the Stvbek Lip that a fellow audizine member sold.

After all said and done: This version of the Stvbek lip is definately fiber glass with carbon overlay which I figured due to the price compared to modbargains. They are asking $699 for the Stvbek Carbon version shipped. So I'm pretty sure for that price it's real carbon fiber.

What's confusing is the Massdrop version has the Stvbek name on it. It could be because they used an original mold to create knock offs. Nonetheless I got what I paid for lol. The front part of the lip doesn't sit as flush to the silver splitter (I plasti dipped and glossided mine). Also the lip doesn't fully reach to both ends of the bumper. But for the price I paid I'm really happy with it. It looks great, subtle and doesnt make the front a whole lot lower with my springs.

Here are some pics. Let me know if I can answer any questions if this is a route you were thinking of going.

    Looks sweet!
How's the clearance though? My fear is if you have a lowered suspension, it just makes it that much tougher when it comes to speed bumps, steep driveways, etc.

Thanks. It was ok. It was my first time drilling into fiberglass/Carbon fiber. I had problems with some bolds not wanting to sit all the way in. Not sure why. I ended up not pulling off the bumper and going in from underneath.

Hey jran thanks for the pics. Is that a 5/16 bolt? I was super nervous drilling into the lip and bumper. I ended up doing it with the bumper on. It wasn't quite as hard. I had problems making the screw go all the way in on some areas. Not sure why. I can hear and feel the drill go all the way through, but when I started to screw the bolts in, some went right in some half some 3/4. Any ideas?

I haven't had any clearance issues during normal driving, and my driveway is steep and has a large hump/curb I have to clear. Parking curbs/stops are the only thing I have to be really careful about because I don't clear those at all.

Thanks. Do you own an S4/A4 as well? If you look at my last pic you'll notice it doesn't make the clearance that much lower. I'd say 1/2 inch. Also the splitter doesn't extend that far out either. The up close shots may look like it, but it's not bad at all. Just like Jran I'm on H&R springs but the sports so it's a little lower than his. I have some huge speed bumps in my apt area. Just gotta go slow. I don't even have to go at an angle. So it's not bad.

13mm I think, so around a 1/2" (and I think 30mm long). If you look at my hardware, all my bolts were the same length, and you can see that as you get further to the insde of the bumper, the angle/contour of the bottom of the bumper eats up the extra length. My guess is you had issues on the screws further towards the inside of the bumper? I think longer screws or bolts would do the trick.

Obviously I used bolts and locking nuts, so I needed pretty long bolts (and it requires removing the bumper). Taking the bumper off is super easy. I can do it in well under 10 minutes without lifting the car.
