Geeky's Back - 6spd B5 S4 Avant Imola Yellow

I'm back to the Audi game. I'm currently in the midst of cutting up my Porsche and building it for SEMA 2016 so needed a daily. This little gem popped up on craigslist, though a salvaged title, but a very clean car and runs great when I checked on it in person.

108,xxx miles
100k mile service done with tbelts etc
Turbo's are in great condition
Stoptech ST40 355mm front BBK (taking off and selling the kit, if anyone is interested, feel free to pm me)

The car currently needs the front and rear bumpers resprayed, suspension, alignment, VC gaskets, sparkplugs.

Modification plans: intake, exhaust, tune, suspension and a custom one off WB build. Once I finish my Porsche build, I'll do a full stage 3 build if I end up keeping the car.

Haha no way we were just talking about this car in the FB group, I thought it was a solid deal for the price. Anytime you can grab a good color avant for a decent price salvage title or not its a good idea

Nice! Rightfully so as you should but I def would have paid $1k less than what he was asking, you can fix lots of shit on a car but you can never make a sedan an avant so when I see them come up for a cheap price I look into it. Enjoy the car!

Took more than 1k off his asking price. I think I did alright. Excited to mockup a flare widebody kit and see how it looks. If it looks decent, I'll spend a weekend on getting the widebody done.

I believe the Imola is a kid name Travis, super nice guy but that does seem a bit steep to me!

on topic though, why remove the BBK? I mean you have it keep it there, if I recall the guy said it had 1k miles on the brakes and if you do all the modification you say you are going to do the brakes will look good on the car...

Ya, there can't be many 6spd cactus avants for sale, so I'm sure it's the same one. Was either put on its side or rolled over from what I was told. I walked away.

I work as the GM for sparta evolution a BBK manufacturer. Cant have the competitors products on my car pmus the stoptech ST40 kit has horrible pedal modulation and brake balance. Way too front heavy for bias and balance. Hate it personally.

I am but I like to do things out of the box. Plus I'm not putting 10-15k worth into a salvage title car. I'll do a one off wb setup that'll take a weekend to install if everything goes as planned and looks as good as I hope it does. I'll mock it up this weekend, as it seems the Porsche front flares got delayed on shipment until Monday instead of Friday now :/

Yeah but I'll be utilizing Allroad flares. I'll do the exposed hardware instead of hidden as I personally like the look of exposed hardware flares. It'll be a very simple widebody and hopefully a clean look. If it works out well, I'll throw a DIY together along with parts, templates, and mounting instructions. I'll be making a custom wide skirt extension with the design in mind

If your serious I know of another Rs4 with the AMD high pressure kit that might be forsale soon. There's another rs4 in state that has the PES Kit. Not the best of options but maybe with a proper retune it would be okay.
