    AWE S-FLO filter

    Hey gang,

I know this is old news...but curious if there have been many takers on the AWE S-FLO filters for the A6/A7? I'm getting close to getting my A7 tuned and thinking about a better filter..
Also, did they (AWE) used to sell the intake hose with the filter at some point? There is a member here selling his AWE filter w/hose combo (similar to Injen), but looking at AWE's site - i only see the filter alone, or the whole carbon fiber housing + filter. Are the aftermarket intake tubes any improvement over the stock one or is it mainly the filter that will make the difference w increased airflow?
I'm on the fence between an Injen intake or just swapping in an AWE S-FLO filter.
    Thanks!

I looked at it like this, who is injen and who is awe... that's why I have an awe. Awe is one of the biggest company's that makes aftermarket parks for audi.

I disagree, an intake is an intake, especially when they both pull in air from the same location. I personally went for the cheaper one so I could allocate my fun money to other mods.

I guess my question is if you're using the stock airbox and just swapping out for a hi-flow filter, does it make any further improvement to swap the intake tube vs. using the stock one. They have to be the same length as stock so not sure the diameter or material will be any improvement over the stock intake tube.

An increased diameter tubing will definitely increase air flow.
