Help Dash lighting up like Christmas tree

So as I was driving my 2012 A5ome from work this evening when out of nowhere I start getting all kinds of notifications on my dash. First came parking brake malfunction, then came abs malfunction, then came a tpms malfunction. so I pulled over in a parking lot to turn off the car since I had this happen before and turning car off/on seemed to fix it with no warnings when turned back on.... only this time when I tried to turn off the ignition the car would not turn off. Had to hold in for 3 seconds before it shut off. Any ideas on what's going on?

Anytime I hear about the dash lights acting like this with no real reason...it's battery related.

Thanks for the input I was wondering if it could be something like that. I really want to try to get some opinions before I try to make a call to a dealer since haven't had good experience with the dealer close to me and the dealer the car was bought from is 2 hours away

Definitely battery if the codes are random and unrelated. When was the last time the battery was replaced?

Still has original battery. It was just completely random for all of them to pop up like that at the same time. Was just driving like I normally do in town and then it all started

4 years isn't bad for a battery, especially if you've just had a cold spell of weather.

I have the opposite problem of too much heat, my VW Scirocco R has a new battery every year!

Something similar happened to me. Took it to the Audi dealership and they diagnosed it as a bad Convenience Control Unit. It's under the passenger seat. They replaced it and things have been perfect since.

Well she's off to the dealer. It's about 40 miles to the dealer and rather be safe than sorry. If you don't mind me asking how much was it for the control unit. I've got an extended warranty I'm hoping to have cover whatever it is but I gotta get the papers to see exactly what it is

The control unit including labor was $1,000-1,200. I don't remember exactly. I too have an extended warranty (Carmax) and they covered everything except the deductible. I'll see if I can pull some papers on the repair to send you in the morning so your dealership can check if it's the same part. PM me your contact info please, and I'll do what I can to help.

Update: dealership called today and said they aren't real sure what's going on. They try to run diagnostic on it and clear the codes but something is not letting the codes clear. Told me the techs working on it have 30 years experience combined and have never seen anything like this. They have put a call in to Audi tech and hope to hear something tomorrow.

So they've been able to replicate the issue? Did you show them the document I sent you?

its not your battery. its the wiring harness that is in the drivers side wheel well. Your control arms are rubbing up against it and is causing those errors. Tell your dealership to look there.

Nah didn't have a chance to tell them about what you sent me I was just happy to get them on the phone called 4 times between 11 and 4 today and didn't get ahold of the service manager until 4. If audi tech doesn't tell them what it is then I'll definitely tell them what you all said.

So just got a call saying they got it narrowed down to either the ABS module or the wiring harness
