    Tip vs 6MT final drive ratios

    Hoping to get tooth count as well. Finally found a shop that will incorporate my JHM helical LSD into my spare (bought it 4-5 years ago) and want to confirm it is 6MT.

    found a chart in my service manual, from what I can understand,

    Auto S4 = 3.100 final drive ratio (31:10 tooth count) HNL diff code
    Manual S4 =3.889 final drive ratio (35:9 tooth count) HNP code
    (Manual) RS4 =4.111 final drive ratio (37:9 tooth count) HNR code

    hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in . . .
