2010 S5 with B&O and MMI - Apple Iphone 6 was crashing my radio

After my Iphone 6 downloaded the newest software (iOS 9.2.1) my Nav/Radio screen would freeze about 10 seconds after starting the car, stay frozen for 20-60 seconds, and it would delete all of my Sirius presets every time I started the car. This was driving me crazy. Was it hardware? software? Could my dealership solve it?

I finally stumbled into the fact that it was the iPhone update - and a lot of people are having problems in Audi's and other brands. In my case making one change completely solved the problem: in the phone, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Call Audio Routing > Choose "Bluetooth Headset" instead of "Automatic". Now the car boots up and pairs without a problem. More tips at this link: http://www.autoconnectedcar.com/2015...6-6s-and-cars/

Hope this helps someone save some time and stress -

Good looking out thanks for the tip! I will be changing that setting proactively just in case.

Thanks for the tip! I've got a 2010 S5 with the same options as you and I'm thinking of making the switch to iPhone.
