    Hey folks,

I was doing an oil change today, and this bolt was sitting on the skidplate when i pulled it out.

    Any ideas?

Head appears to be a 9 triple square.

That would be an interesting coincidence. I had the intake mani de-carbonized a few months ago.

I was looking around in that area and nothing was obviously missing. Is this bolt tucked up into an generally inaccessible area?

Thanks. Ill have to dig around in there some more once it stops raining. Is it accessible from the top side? What are the risks with running without it? (As I've apparently been doing ....)

The brace bolts to the motor, without the bolt the majority of the load will still be the weight of the intake manifold down against the block which the brace will will still mostly provide even without the bolt. To get to it I would remove the intake hose. There is a wire harness either ziptied or one of those press in ties that hides the base of the brace. But its pretty much the only aluminum brace directly below the throttle body that goes to the block. It would be the botttom bolt. Very likely left loose until all the other intake bolts were started and then forgotten about.

The lower motor mount bolts are m8 X 45mm so you can rule that out.
