Lets Talk Air fresheners

I would love for my car to smell like a new Audi, but thats not going to happen. I have used the meguiars new car sent bomb. The smell isnt bad, but is extremely strong even if I leave my windows down for hours. I just want a nice clean scent. anyone have recommendations ?? or post what you use

I use Griots interior detailer and leather conditioner, and I don't leave fast food bags in my back seat. That leaves it smelling fine.

I've been using that scent portable stuff from bath and bodyworks. It's nice and doesnt rape your nose. Plus, they have a pretty big selection of scents

Same here. I also bought their leather car spray scent. Actually smells like real leather.

Try wonder wafers. Throw a few under the seats and it'll last for weeks. My other favorite is chemical guys stripper scent. Everyone loves the scent until I show them the bottle.

The new car smell is from chemicals and glue from production. If you want that new car smell, you need to get ahold of that glue.

So after the plasticizers and other chemicals have finished off-gassing from the all the synthetics in the car, you want to replace them with other chemicals that you can breath in the confined space. Interesting. The best smell is NO smell.

My GF is constantly jealous at how my now 2-year-old car with 30K still has the new car smell. It's mainly because I never roll down the windows (only use AC or Heat) and never eat in my car.

btw, the leather conditioner from chemical guys has an awesome smell that lasts for weeks.
it also is a pretty great conditioner. the difference between the leather in my a4 and my wifes allroad is night and day (yes i do not condition her leather)

I was just messing around. I don't use anything in my car, it just smells like a new car off of the show room floor.

I just grabbed a black ice for the first time ever and hung it on the mirror but its so damned strong I had to put it back in the pack
