Hit and Run

Having lunch today and a gentleman came rushing into the restaurant and asked who drove the blue Audi parked outside. One I spoke up he told me that a woman in a grey Toyota suv just backed into my S6 and drove away. Luckily, he was a car enthusiast and quickly gathered her license plate number. I called the Sheriff department and once they arrived I filed a report and gave the information.
Sorry for the quality of the pictures it got dark really fast after it happened.

It's hard to see in the pictures but the grill is cracked.

Does anyone know what a stock post face lift grill costs? If it's anywhere close to the RS6 grill, I will probably go that route.

Unfortunately it is xpel wrapped and opti coated so all that needs to be reinstalled too. CURSES!

Sucks, but as mentioned, you were very fortunate to have a witness. Leaving an accident can carry a misdemeanor charge if caught. Someone sideswiped my S60 2 years ago, I was not as lucky as you, had to claim it on my insurance, which now goes against your collision, not comp, since it was car to car.

Yeah, you guys are right. While it's not even that bad, I guess it's more of the principle of the matter. Seems like people don't have much respect for other people's things these days.

Sorry to see this. Least you came away with a witness/license plate and not too much damage to your car.

I hate to say this, but that woman probably have no idea she even hit your car. Lots of clueless drivers around these days.

One too many drivers also who think that a simple bumper-bumper tap is fine....

Oh no she did. The gentleman that got her info said she looked back in horror and then started to speed off. He threw blow his horn and she continued to drive away. That sucks. Had she left a note or came in and told me, I wouldn't have a problem at all. I know things happen, but that's just inexcusable.
