Alright guys so when i was doing my fuel injectors a few weeks back i lost the little rubber piece that goes under the fuel rail cap, the one that covers the pin to relieve the pressure, down into the pits of my engine bay. I thought to myself once again a 5 minute job must turn into a half hour and then i said no, fuck it, it will be fine ill just tighten down the cap tight and nothing will happen. Well i was kind of right but today i was doing some wrenching and i glanced at the fuel rail cap and it looked damp, i smelled it and yes of course it seems to be leaking a slight amount of fuel.
Basically i need some help, i was doubting there would be a part number for this thing but i could be wrong. or is there another alternative?

The cap itself is not intended to hold the fuel pressure. That job is the schrader valve. The cap keeps contaminates out of the port. You can try tightening the schrader but it may be the valve spring seat is leaking so it may need replacing. I would replace both for piece of mind.

I linked the schrader valve too. You can probably get one at an auto parts store if it is rated for fuel use.
