AWE Touring Exhaust Feedback

I'm looking for some feedback from those of you that have the AWE touring exhaust. How much louder is it than stock in dynamic mode? I want to get the exhaust but am hoping it noticeably louder than stock. I love the larger black tips so that is also a major selling point.

Any feedback would be appreciated

I have a B8A4 2.0T. Basically same as the Q5 2.0T. I have the 034 HFC and AWE exhaust, it is right at the max of what I can tolerate. Looking to take the HFC off and see if that brings the noise volume down a bit for me.

I should have mentioned it is for my wife's 2015 SQ5.

I have the touring on my S4 and love the sound. Not to loud and not to mellow.

If you want the continued contrast of quiet/loud, dump the resonators and keep the stock mufflers & valved exhaust. In comfort mode, or when you're not on the throttle, it's just as quiet as stock. In dynamic mode, when you stand on it, it's nearly like open pipes. I love my setup, but it's all about acoustical taste.

Does it drone? All you're saying is to straight pipe the car, basically?

No drone at all. If you're in gear, with your foot on the brake at a light, there is a slight rumble, which I like, but no cruising drone. I have a stock exhaust, except for my NRDP's from AWE (MOPS). The pussy-foot mode is perfectly quiet, like stock, but when heavy-footed, it screams. My point is, for regular daily driving, it's nice and quiet. When you step on it in Dynamic mode, it's freakin' loud. That contrast is what I prefer: whisper, whisper, whisper. . .ROAR! If the roar isn't to your liking, you're a freakin' hyper-miler.
