B8 Battery Help

Hello,

Looks like battery died on my 2010 A4 1.8. Audi in Pakistan is replacing it but for US$ 998 minus labour. Audi in Dubai is selling the same battery for US$ 200 but the problem is that shipping the battery to Pakistan is about US$ 700 so the same price as local Audi.

Can any merciful soul guide me as to whether the attached pictures of the battery show a Bosch or a Varta or which make? I can get one from the market for around US$ 250 which isn't bad.

Any additional guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I didnt read through here since I'm on the go right now, but some useful info may be in this thread for you. Last time I read it was a while back and there was some good info in there.

You dont need an OEM battery, another brand is also fine. Do you have VCDS?
