Does anyone know if you need an adapter to wire two 8inch subs for a bose premium sound system?

You will want to use an aftermarket amplifier, so you will need to figure out how to connect that to your stock system. You can either pick up an LOC or you can splice into the input's on the Bose amp as the factory head unit already puts out a low level signal. Search there are dozens of threads on adding a sub/amp.

They are magnum subs with a magnum amp. I think I'll try to look up some forums. I looked a few months back and there was hardly anything about it with Bose sound System hookup.c

also I'm using the rnse nav head unit if that matters. I see a lot of people don't have it or have the android one which makes it easy to connect.

I have the same head unit, I ran my power wire back from the battery for the amp and as far as the inputs I used a high level to rca converter from my oem sub input (you can use any speaker input for this) unless your amp is capable Of high level inputs which in that case just spliced the wire to your oem speaker and wire it directly to your amp

    same here.

Some MTX amp got the ''auto-on'' with high input audio signal. So no need of the 12v remote wire to put the amp ON.
I just unhook the OEM sub wires, I use wire clamps and hook RCA cables. My MTX amp will take high RCA input.

All I had to do is to run a 8ga wire from the battery to the amp. ( 300w rms bridged).

Work just like my old proper wired setup in my previous car. Sound is amazing. I'm using those old pioneer 10'' sub , knows as the tank subs. 375w rms capable.

Remove the bass in the bose speaker, so it can reach higher dB on high/med frequencies. And boost the bass gain on the amp a bit. Not the best way to setup a sound system, but it will do just fine.
Anyway, I was really disappointed about this stock upgraded bose system. Not the best. It feel like those cheap sony explode upgrades I use to see in the civics in the early 2000.

How's it sound at 300 rms? I'm running a kenwood mono 900 rms into two kicker cvx 10" @ 600 rms a piece capable, I would like to downsize to something 200-400 single 12

good enough for me, the bose can't follow anyway.

I use to have in my previous car, 8 components speakers infinity reference, 2x10'' rigid sub, sealed 3/4'' thick boxes, 1x 850w amp@4ohms 2 channel ( 22'' inch long amp) for sub, 1x 650rms@4ohms 4 channel (22 inch long amp). With a crossover. 2x 4ga wire. Eclipse headunit 8v rca. Sipral grid battery.

I must say , the car was moving with the sound system.

I use none of this in the audi, only 1 sub. Sound quality is way less. I don't feel to swap everything back in the audi.

So to answer the question. Well , my actual setup is a bit weaker (power and sound quality).
