Used 2.7 engine, what would you want to see before the engine is pulled?

Not yet for sale, but this is where I find the most 2.7 knowledge.

I bought a 2.7 parts car for the 6sp parts and the 2.7 is going to be for sale (if 8520 doesn't inadvertently convince me the entire drive-train should be in the S6.) It's very strong, very complete, and I don't know of issues other than an EGT sensor code.

Having said that, if you were in the market, what would you be interested in seeing prior to pulling the engine? Start/idle vids, compression test vids, VCDS scans/logs? I've never sold an engine that I had knowledge of prior to pulling from the car, so I'd like to take the time to do this correctly.

Compression test at a minimum and an idle vid would be nice with maybe some video of around the valve covers to listen to valve train and video of speedo. I bought a 2.7 from someone local and he said it ran perfectly before he pulled it so I took his word for it like an idiot. I later found a bent exhaust valve which caused zero compression in cylinder 5 and valve seals were all shot... I was pretty pissed after discovering all this. Only positive was I only paid $400 for it.
