Removed from an 04' S4. I kept the mirror caps. $90 shipped. One harness was cut for removal; (not me!) but I had the end around here somewhere.
Glass seems great, mirror caps are Atlas Gray.

Do you have to have a vagcom to get them to work if you have normal mirrors?

No, no Vag com required at all. There's no coding if you're trying to "add" these to a car that came without them. It's all wiring. Lots and lots of wiring. And a matching control module. And the right switch. And beer. Lots and lots of beer.

Hmm actually pretty interested I'd have to see if someone has a write up on here for it though I have no idea on the module and switch....the beer part is no issue.

If I was going to do it, which...I originally contemplated...I'd find a parts car and remove the wiring, switch and module myself to use. I don't think you could realistically do it any other way. I mean, unless I'm wrong and most of these cars came wired for them? It may only be 2 or 4 wires to add to the module / switch?
It's usually cheaper for manufacturers to make most of the cars the same and lose $2 worth of wire than to specify a different harness for 'options' all along the assembly line.
    But..again..I dunno.

Which, I think, is the reason that the harness for the super whamadyne mirrors are installed (but not connected) in cars that don't have them.
