Shifter Slop - Linkage or shifter itself

Okay, I think its the linkage, but I'd rather get some third party input.

    1) Are you able to tell what brand short shifter is installed?
    2) Is the slop from the linkage or shifter itself?
    3) Should I buy New shifter, new linkage or trio kit (I'd go with JHM)?

    Thank you everyone!

I'd say that most of it is due to the linkage based on your videos, but some of it is probably coming from the shifter. I don't know what brand it is, but it isn't stock, and also doesn't look like the JHM shifter. Any chance you could get some better close-up pictures of the shifter, primarily at the pivot point? If you want no slop at all, go with a trio kit from JHM.

Thanks for your reply. I took the whole thing off last night, I can't believe I forgot to. I'll see if I can get to it sunday when I'm home next and can do it.

I posted my JHM shifter play video on your FB post, and I agree with imnuts that its your linkage.

JHM's shifter is better than any others because they replace the plastic ball pivot point with a bearing. Its a no brainer to go with their kit.
