RS5 S tronic clunking selecting gear. Mechatronic unit???

Hi chaps. I bought an RS5 in November. When i picked it up from the Audi dealer, immediately driving it off the forecourt i experienced harsh 1-2 gearshifts. Never driven one before i just put it down to the aggressive RS5 nature. It soon occured to me that this wasn't normal - particularly as it was uncontrollable i.e. shoots off down the drive way when changing or wants to rear end the car in front in traffic. Long story short i went through the motions of changing all the oils, no codes to speak off then did a readaption which has solved the harsh 1-2 changes and the 2-1 bump when coming to a stop. For now..... However early on i did get the occasional time when going from P to R or D where the transmission clunked. It was so bad a couple of times it jerked the car. This is now occurring more often and is intermittent. I would say half the time it engages smoothly with no rattles or concerning clunks. The other half its, well, not right. Please see the vid and let me know if your RS5 makes this noise, whether you have experienced it before or not and your general opinion. I am at the stage now to be honest where i want to throw the car back at the dealer and ask for a refund as this has been one of many failures with the car in 3 months. Its a 2010 with 12 months extended warranty and 30k on the clock. The noise in the vid is around 70% as bad as it has been so far. Thanks for your time guys.

Definitely mechatronic or a new tranny. Bring it back and fight them over it.

I've never heard that sound before in mine. Do what Atmmac said and get the dealer to fix it
