Battery going bad? Gremlins in the car...

I had my battery checked at Autozone about a month ago and it checked fine, on my way back to work from lunch, it started and right after it stalled, battery light came on on the Dashboard. Tried it again, it hesitated a bit but it started and drove to work but it never shifted into 6 even when I tried with the paddles, shifter or anything. Ideas from anyone ?

This problem has very little/ Nothing to do with the battery.

If the car cranks and starts the battery is fine . The reason the battery light came on is that when it stutters and stalls the alternator isint running fast enough to charge the battery so the light comes on .

You have a basic running issue. it sounds like in your case you may have a fuel delivery issue as it starts with some residual fuel pressure then dies. Not nearly enough info to tell if you even have fuel or ignition issues. But I have a hunch you are having fuel delivery/ mixture issues.

I think you hit the nail right on the head, it's working fine now, no codes or anything it was weird.

Anything I should keep an eye out for?

If nothing else I would wonder about your fuel filter or cam follower.
