I found a used key fob with the correct part number, but not sure if it's completely compatible since the last 4 numbers do not match.

New Key numbers: 8Z0 837 231B/ 357733 33/01

Old Key numbers: 8Z0 837 231B / 357733 47/01

Would the new key fob work?

the last section looks like the production date (week and year), so I'd presume so
