please confirm that a 2.7t single mass clutch kit is a bolt on for a 3.0 v-6 6 speed?

Can someone PLEASE confirm that a 2.7t single mass flywheel kit with clutch will bolt into a my 2003 A4 3.0 6 speed?
I've been told it's literally a bolt/drop in, however, the only thing that needs to be checked/changed are the fly wheel bolts are the 2.7 bolts maybe too long and cannot be tightened down properly and will bottom out?

Looking at several options...





I would appreciate hearing from anyone that's actually installed an aftermarket single mass kit and if it was truly a drop in...my clutch is shot and it needs to be replaced.

the better question is why wouldnt you just purchase the valeo single mass kit made for our cars?

I haven't found a specific valeo kit for a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 6 speed...did I miss something? All I can find is the 2.7t kit...link please?

whoops, didnt realize you have a 3.0. theoretically any kit made for an 01E tranny should work, it'll just come down to clutch stack height i would assume.

Yes. The kits work on the 3.0. I was going to go this route until I was able to grab a 3.0 specific DMF and clutch pack on Rockauto for like $350. Here's a link to the thread where we were talking about it.
