    Better Brakes

Just a quick question. After having my current q7 for close to 18months now, and having changed the brakes once on its service, I'm still not totally happy with the stopping power of them.
Is there a way I can have them altered to have more "bite"? And if not, can anyone recommend a way for me to upgrade them? If so, what would/could I upgrade them to? (NOT Carbon Ceramics!)
What does a brake upgrade involve cost and time wise?

    Thanks.

EBC Redstuff pads are a very low dusting pad that will be an upgrade over stock. Pair that with EBC or StopTech replacement dimpled and slotted rotors or just slotting rotors that will give you a much needed upgraded over stock.

EBC Yellowstuff pads are a bit longer lasting and provide a better cold and hot bite over Redstuff, but you get a very high dusting pad that will eat rotors at a higher rate.

Hawk HPS pads will perform like EBC Redstuff but with a very high dust rate.

Hawk HPS 5.0 pads are a slight bit better than the regular HPS and dust a lot less. But still do not perform as good as the EBC Yellowstuff.

I personally run EBC Redstuff on everything I've owned over the past 8 years. They are not a "track" pad yet I have tracked my old S4 with them and they stood up to extreme abuse and kept going.

I did custom adams slotted rotors paired with Pagid Pads front and rear and it made all the difference in the world.
