I just hit a hard piece of ice...

About an hour ago I hit a solid ice chunk. While it missed the oil pan, it left this nasty dent.

It's an automatic transmission and everything seems to be working fine, and no fluid leaks so far.

Could I be fine for a bit, at least until I have my jack back and access to a garage? Or could this kill the transmission?

Long as there is no fluid leak, you should be alright.. If it were me I'd have the new part ordered bc I'm OCD with parts staying mint, but no worries! Everything seems to be okay when looking at the picture !
