I just found out the warranty on my injectors was extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles.

flash back to stock? what's the difference if you get TD1'ed lol

I have a replaced ECU so the flash counter won't even work for them as an excuse. If I go back I'm flashing to stock and having them look at whatever needs fixing... Probably won't ever do that but still.

    I added some more lol.

But yea I mean I don't see why getting a TD1 flag is a big deal if you're tuned and plan to always be tuned through the end of your warranty. Worst case flash to stock and try, the only thing you'll lose is like a day where they TD1 you and you're in the same spot ya know?

Warranty... may waive the deductible but if not its $85. I've got a new(ish... compared to the car anyway) intake manifold, exhaust seals and a few other randoms parts they have needed to replace along the way.

If you have the metal intake manifold instead of the plastic, it's quite a bit different fueling wise and half of the DIY above doesn't really apply.

I've pulled the injectors on my A4 w/metal intake manifold 3 times now. I'll try to grab some pics later for a few tips.

I wasn't able to grab any good pics that showed anything without taking it all apart, so Ill try to list the tips.

    1. I was unable to get the two rubber hoses on top of the intake manifold off the barbs, so I just didn't bother with them and set the intake manifold on top of the engine with the hoses still attached.

    2. There is a metal arm supporting the intake manifold, this needs to be unbolted. Removing the throttle body makes this a whole lot easier.

    3. There is a metal tube coming from the bottom of the high pressure fuel pump at the back of the engine to the fuel rail. Both ends need to be undone. I just broke the seal to bleed off excess pressure and put some rags down to catch the gas.

This is what my engine bay looked like while working, a little cluttered, but I didn't have to undo any hoses except the hard fuel line, pre-throttle body intake hose, and the 90 degree PCV fitting.
