B6 S4 water pump removal. Im stumped!

So I have removed thermostat housing and all four bolts in the water pump housing... and I cannot remove this SOB. I ordered a new pump to install while engine is out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah mine was quite stubborn sliding out. just verify all of the fastners are out and lightly and evenly begin to pry it out of the pan.

Got it. Wow it was really confortable where it was. A littke help from a pry bar and some wiggling and it came off
