    Warrant or not?

    Do you think the dealer would change this seat under warranty? I have no clue how it go like that. It was like that when I bought it used from previous owner.

    Looks like wear and tear from a wallet or something. I've never heard of warranty covering wear items like seats; used cars are bought as-is. I don't even think this would be addressed during CPO.

    That's interesting. It must have something to do with thr heated seats softening the leather or something. It's only on my drivers side

    Very common issue on the Prestige seats.

    This same issue was raised by some members over at AudiWorld. IIRC, a few were successful in replacing under warranty, but the majority were not.

    Doubtful, but can't hurt to ask. Wear and tear areas are rarely covered under warranty. Depending on the age of the car and miles driven (not to mention personal habits and weight of the driver), it would be difficult to say whether what you're seeing there is abnormal wear, or the result of wear and tear as a result of all of the aforementioned factors.

    Whoa thats bad. Like others said it seems like the wallet has been digging into the seat for a while. I dont know but I just cannot sit with a wallet under my ass.

    The leather stretched the way to fix it is to use a steamer which will cause the leather in the effected area to shrink. Or try warm water.

    I never asked. I tried a heatgun method and this was the best I could get it.
