I'm currently running the Motoza e85 tune on my stock KO3 Dave is currently reviewing my logs to find a possible reason why I'm not making the peak boost I should be even after boost teak testing with no leaks found. He is taking a while to get back to me for that right now too so I have a feeling he is just very busy and will get to us soon. As for my e85 tune everything has been running great on it, I have been fueling with e85 for about 2 months now and have come across zero issues. The tune through Motoza is actually the MTC or multi tune controller and you can change it between 91, 93, Valet, and e85 anytime you want to as long as you have your laptop with you to plug into the car.
A couple things to note with the e85...
I average around 14 to 16 mpg with a mix of city and expressway driving when I used to average around 20 mpg with 93.
I have to cold start my car every morning and being that I live in Detroit there has been a couple days of single digit temps around 5 degrees Fahrenheit, the colder it gets the more times the car will stall before finally stabilizing the idle so it seems that the 5th start has been pretty consistent for the very cold days and on only average cold days its only 1 or 2 stalls. I'm hoping that Dave is able to adjust the tune further in order to help with the cold starting but I can't complain as I have never been unable to start it.
There is a good deal more mid range and low end torque or at least it feels like it as I'm assuming the higher Octane of the fuel lets Dave safely push the timing advancement further.
Perhaps one of my favorite aspects is just the fuel itself, where I live it is cheaper than 87 and about 60 cents per gallon cheaper than 93. and that's with gas prices extremely low right now. I remember seeing a couple years ago e85 for $2.10 a gallon when 93 was around $3.80 a gallon so the savings at the pump can only go up from there.
Also the corn life smells amazing
