Yeah, you can still drive it. Will just be loud AF.

    What HFC do you have?

    I'm gonna guess Eurocode

I'd have slight concerns about exhaust and carbon monoxide seeping into the cabin. Probably less of a concern at speed, but when stopped.

Plenty of posts in the s4 forum that the end links need rebuilt way more often than is reasonable

I'm thinking about ordering the 034 HFC too. Did you get the 02 spacer?

Let us know how the install was. I'd be interested in gauging the difficulty

IMO, thats an unacceptable answer regardless of the warranty expiration. The pipe is only 1.5years old it should last the lifetime of the car.

Yea my thoughts exactly...I don't think I'll buy anything anymore from Eurocodes...and will not recommend them especially if anyone is looking for a HFC

wow that's brutal it broke like that. Looks to be an easy fix for a muffler shop or friend with a welder. Maybe put a reinforcement on it to ensure it doesn't happen again? Might not be needed with a quality weld job.

guess they have no obligation to replace out of warranty but seems like poor welds/material quality and for customer service they should do something for you

I suggest using new nuts and gasket when you put the thing back on in case you ever need to remove again. They are cheap enough

I purchased a 034 hfc and sounds so much nicer than the eurocodes and they provide new nuts and gaskets...the weld seems like piss poor quality compared to the 034....I'll I was back in Cali where I have my tight welder I would have tried but rather have a great quality hfc..

seeing it resting back a little ways,
don't these cars use some slip joints in certain spots?

I wonder if something was too short, and it was putting extra strain on the welds.

I really don't understand the need for all these crazy extension setups people use to get the nuts off. Do people remove those nuts from the below the car?
Oh, nm those are for the 3 nuts on the bottom, I see

Could be possible but when it broke off it was a small gap as I drove it to work and back a few times it slipped back

I can do it without the extensions if I want to be on the floor ahha I just use extentions to reach bolt have my cousin under holding back of the bolt and I u tighten the nut then hook up my cordless snap on impact and remove nut faster ahha.
