    What fluid is this?

    Afternoon guys,

    Went out to my car after work today and saw a frothy white liquid just under the front of my car. I had my transmission fluid replaced yesterday, which is what I suspect it is though didn't recall that being white. Here are the two photos I took. http://imgur.com/a/uMyoW

    Any clue as to what it could be? I didn't recall seeing any yesterday after the service had been done or this morning prior to work. Any help would be appreciated.

    Semen maybe?

    What year is your car? If you have a ZF transmission, your fluid would be greenish. I don't know if that's anything that came from the internals of your vehicle.

    Haha all the guys at work said semen too. Thanks! While it has been salty around here, when I touched the fluid it was def greasy/oily/what have you. Car is a 2009 2.0 quattro btw. Any other possibilities?

    Looks like its transmission fluid. Just went outside and there was a green puddle this time :D yay. No idea why it turned white with the rain today.

    Trans fluid isn't green, is it? My manual fluid wasnt.

    Depends on your transmission. Mine is. Manual isn't. I'm not sure about six-speed auto. The lubricant (tehe) for the A/C is also green, but it is a VERY bright neon green.
