Worlds fastest Snow Plow... well sort of..

We got a dump today and I thought I share some pictures. The roads were not cleared and on some parts there is a foot of fresh snow, luckly with no ice junks in it (yet). I just made it home in time..
Car suspension is stock on 17x18 wheels with Continental ExtremeWinterContact - 225/45R17 on it. No traction problems what so ever...

and finally save from the elements..

Nice. Also glad to hear you didn't have any traction problems. I think you're title of fastest snow plow might be a bit premature though. Haha.

Its funny you mentioned....I was so looking forward to playing in this crap. Took the wife's A3 to work instead, and it handled very good all considered that we came from front wheel drive vehicles. There were a couple of inclines that I was concerned about but the little A3 handled it with aplomb - my TSX would have spun and slid sideways as the BRZ would have happily fishtailed albeit into other vehicles.
One thing I have noticed is that there is a certain awareness when driving AWD or 4x4. Can't be too confident as going around a bend at high speeds will put one into the curb - which explains all the SUV's in the ditches - LMAO!

I wish I had pics. Here in Arizona we had an extreme winter, where we were the coldest state of the US by quite a long shot. ( I know hard to believe ). Our mountains got raped with snow, and I happened to had been in Pinetop, Az when that happened. I was impressed with the handling of the Audi in the Snow. I did miss my 750whp Evo in the snow, but Audi is not shy at all. I am talking a good 20-30" of fresh snow.

Haha I was in the same snowstorm as you. Oddly enough I got stuck once getting out of my street but I think that's because the snow was piled so high that my car got partial beached. I miss Torsen for sure but Haldex isn't bad

Wow!! Nice truck... would have been handy yesterday... we had a 50 year record snowfall... 20 inches in one day. And a lot of slow moving obstacles (aka rear wheel drive with all season tires) on the road lol... or what I call.. more fun!!
