Question Help With Hard-wiring To The Fuse Box

One thing I really like about these cars is the clean and simple interior and I really hate having cables hanging around or even visible. I've hardwired my radar detector to the rear view mirror, but now I'm trying to get my dashcam to the fuse box. The fuses are a little harder to reach in this car, but I wanted to know if anyone else has hardwired anything to their fuse box. What fuses did you use? Where did you ground it? Any pictures or advice is welcome.

Trying to revive an old thread here without creating a new one.
I too am looking for this information prior to pulling the trigger on a hardwire kit. I’m looking at the Auto-Vox hardwire kit but not sure of the fuse type - is it ATO vs mini and micro etc. I believe they are ATO but would like to make sure.

    Thanks and happy holidays.

I just hardwired my dash cam to the fuse box under the steering wheel. The hardwire kit included 4 different types of 5 amp fuses and I used the mini fuse since there is an entire row of switch power fuses to pick. I plugged into the single 5 amp fuse on that row.

This is great information, thanks for chiming in. If you don’t mind me asking; what hardwire kit are you using? I’m reading some negative reviews about the black magic pro hardwire kit with the dip switch settings. The recommended path is the VicoVation VicoPower plus BDP for parking mode..... found here....... VicoVation Vico-Power PLUS Battery Discharge Prevention (BDP) Device for Parking Mode https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00ZPLSITE/..._sXklCbK8KJBCT
A bit rich for me, lol

    Thanks
