    yes but you'll need either rs6 brakes , or c5 s6/c5 4.2 rear calipers carriers and rotors

    no they are not, rear hub on the s6/rs6 and a6 4.2 are aluminum with a larger offset( deeper rotor hat)

    allroad is all cast iron.

    oddly enough though random cars had the similar wider cast iron (not aluminum ) hubs and used a deeper regular non vented rotor

    go check your new s6 and tell me what the rear hub is made of ;)


    so in summary sure they are interchangeable but you will need some parts to make it work . easier to find just a regular hub if you don't want a project

    It may be that the OP was talking about what you're talking about, but technically the hub presses into the wheel bearing, which pressing into the spindle, upright, steering knuckle (when referring to the front obviously) :)

    I suppose we're both right, just depends what OP meant.
