2017 model year?

Is the 2017 model year going to be the same as the current generation A5/S5? If so, when will we see the next generation cars? 2018?

Correct me if I'm wrong but the new A5 will be the 2017 model, which is suppose to be revealed in March at the Geneva Auto Show, with a showroom/dealer appearance in the Fall going for sale as a 2017 model. Just assuming that whatever 5s the dealerships have now and getting in the next few months will be the last.

That's really late for a release, and a really short period between reveal and release.
If it's ready to go anytime soon, why haven't we seen it or any more spy shots yet? The new A4 was spotted all over the US well before its release.

I'm betting we won't see it until 2017 as a 2018 model.
