    Simple question for those who knows (Audi A4 B6 2L petrol)

    Should these two connect? I have searched for this simple thing all over the internet and can locate photos where they are connected and where they are not.

    When I purchased car it was holding this part connected with duck tape.... It was replaced with new part but it does not reach all over it, so it is kinda connected and kinda not.

    They sure look like it. Seems like the PCV system on that motor.

    The hole in the intake definitely needs to be plugged because you are letting in unmetered air

    Yes it should connect. It is part of your block breathing system (PCV valve).
