Ibis white S4 production numbers from Audi.

I emailed Audi USA to get some info on my car. They were surprisingly accommodating. I sent my vin number in with a few questions and heres what I got.

Here is the information we have obtained:

· There were 354 Model Year 2007 Audi S4 4.2 SEDAN 4-DR AUTO QUATTRO models sold in the US.

· There were 25 Model Year 2007 Audi S4 4.2 SEDAN 4-DR AUTO QUATTRO models with IBIS WHITE exteriors sold in the US.

· There were 18 Model Year 2007 Audi S4 4.2 SEDAN 4-DR AUTO QUATTRO models with IBIS WHITE exteriors and EBONY interiors sold in the US.

So pretty much with my options they only sold 18 in 2007 in the US. I'm really rethinking selling my car to my father in law. Even if he's a super Audi enthusiast.

Mine's an '08, but i would be interested to see the production numbers as well.

When I was looking for mine there were two for sale. Same everything except the transmission. Got the auto for the wife because it's her DD. Turned out my neighbor bought the 6spd so that was funny.

Whoa, when i was looking for mine i also found two for sale. Same everything except the transmission. I picked up the 6MT.

Took months to find a white one, then BOOM. Two for sale at once. I went with the stick and never looked back... Given, it's only been like three weeks since i brought her home.

This is where I went to request the info. I called and they said put my info in and they'd look it up. A week later they emailed it to me. So it at actually works. I'm really surprised someone took the time to research the info.

Has anybody seen the kids movie Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa with Marty the Zebra blending into the other zebras in Africa because that is like my car.

I just hate these thread cause who cares? Pretty much EVERY S4 configuration has only a few of each made when you factor in all the options. If it makes you feel good to know how many cars are made in your configuration cool. However, no one really cares about how "rare" your car is...

I read somewhere that Audi thought they made too many B6 S4s. So when they came out with the B7 S4 they cut production numbers down to make it more "exclusive". So you may be right. Your car could have more brothers and sisters.

That's crazy. I've only ever seen one other one like mine but it was a 6spd.

The reason the number interests me, is because somewhere along the lines I thought this would be a collectors item with all the timing guide failures, and totaled vehicles . It would be interesting to see if one particular packaged car holds better value. I've only seen one good conditioned s4 locally, and my buddy's neighbor has an RS4 that looks very close to my s4. Color, interior e t c..I'm sure they are out there and I'm missing them.
