Oil cap leak with catch can setup

So I needed to replace my pcv and decided to go with a catch can setup. It's been running great for about a month now and this morning I noticed a rough idle. Seen smoke coming from the hood along with the smell of oil so popped the hood and oil is spitting out the cap. I know this is a symptom of a bad pvc but with a catch can setup what could be the problem now?

Wow. Can you post a pic of how you have the catch can installed as well? And which catch can is it?

Or the can itself is full and frozen. Something is causing massive positive pressure in your crankcase and the oil cap was the easiest way for it to get out.

It's an 034 Billet with the oil return line. Something must of froze up inside. When I drove the car home from work it ran fine. It's been well below freezing for the past few days here in NY.
